Richard L. “Dick” Land
January 9, 1931-October 19, 2006
Dick was a veteran of the United States Marines and a lifelong resident of Henry and Wayne Counties. He managed numerous grocery stores and retired from Chrysler Corporation in New Castle in 1988. A member of Chicago Corner Church, he served as deacon for many years. He and his wife, Rheta, promoted the Farmer’s Pike Festival for 26 years. He enjoyed the home place and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed his little dog, Blondie.
Teresa Sharon “Teri” Land Dunaway
June 19, 1954-March 23, 2004
Teri was a 1972 graduate of Lincoln High School and a lifelong resident of Henry and Wayne Counties. She worked at Rihm’s Food Ranch, Land’s Inn, New Lisbon Truck Stop and was the owner of the Milton Inn; she also helped to put on the Farmer’s Pike Festival with her family. She was a member of Chicago Corner Christian Church. Teri loved spending time with her children and grandchildren: Daughter Jamie, Son Joe and grandchildren, Hannah and Zane.
